COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS
Having an annual eye exam is the best way to ensure a lifetime of healthy eyes and good vision. Dr Chiu will provide you with the most comprehensive eye examination currently available, fully customized to your age group, medical/visual history, and personal risk factors. She will then finalise your eyeglass prescription with a personalized management plan for any additional findings of the ocular health assessment. Some common conditions that may require further treatment include:

Macular degeneration

Retina disorders: holes, tears and detachments
Please bring the following to your appointment:

A list of your current medications and dietary supplements
In Ontario, Comprehensive Eye Examinations are covered under OHIP for the following patients:

Children aged 0 to 19 years old

Seniors aged 65 years and older
-
People with diabetes who are receiving treatment, and other medical conditions such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and some types of infection/inflammation.
All of the above patients are eligible for a comprehensive eye exam ONCE a year.

For Adults 20-64 not covered under OHIP, we provide direct billing to most insurance companies. Please contact us to discuss your coverage or approach your insurance provider directly.
